Our Rooms

Learning Adventures Ashhurst has three distinct areas for different age groups, enabling us to deliver safe, nurturing and age appropriate learning experiences for all our children.  Each area has its own amazing outdoor space.

The Koru room is a cozy, warm and welcoming space. Made to feel like a home away from home evoking warmth, comfort and security while stimulating a baby’s development. The walls are adorned with items from home, family photos and baby art to foster a sense of familiarity and enhancing the home-like atmosphere.

The kowhai room is vibrant, engaging and developmentally supportive. The room has been thoughtfully set up to be warm and inviting – a space where toddlers feel safe, curious and excited to learn and explore.

The kahikatea room has been thoughtfully designed to foster learning, creativity, social interactions and independence. By having defined areas to support both group and individual play and open-ended materials to inspire imagination and discovery.
