Our Rooms
Learning Adventures Te Puke has two separate rooms, enabling us to deliver safe, nurturing and age appropriate learning experiences for all our children.
Puriri Room
This is home away from home for our children aged from birth to 3, filled with lots of inspiring heuristic and interactive resources that spark the imagination and cultivate creative thinking.
Daily Rhythm
7:30 am: Centre opens, kaiako and tamariki start to arrive; our room is set up in an aesthetically pleasing way to provoke interests and sustained play.
9:30 am: Rolling morning tea is offered and tamariki are encouraged to eat when they are ready; care moments (e.g. bottles, nappies and sleeps) are supported by care kaiako.
11:30 am: Wash hands and kai time - kaiako support the tamariki as they enjoy a Healthy Heart meal.
11:30 am - 3:00 pm: Care moments are continually supported as tamariki make their way to the whare moe for a sleep.
2:00 - 3:00 pm: Rolling afternoon tea is offered as tamariki wake up; care moments are supported.
3:00 – 5:30 pm: Tamariki begin to go home
5:30 pm: Centre closes
Pohutukawa Room
Specially created for our busy 3 to 5 years olds, this room has everything little minds and bodies need to grow and learn.
Daily Rhythm
7:30 am: Centre opens, we set up the environment with your child and begin our day together.
9:30 - 10:45 am: Rolling morning tea begins. Children can come to the kai area when they are ready. A teacher is available to support children. A healthy selection of fruits, raw vegetables and hummus will be available.
11:30 am - 12:45 pm: Rolling lunch - please refer to our weekly lunch menu for daily lunch.
2:30 pm: Rolling afternoon tea starts, and includes freshly baked goods, fruit, popcorn and dried fruit.
5:30 pm: Centre closes
